Hotel Victor — Miami Beach

Located in the Miami Beach Architectural National Register Historic District (known to the public as the “art deco district”). The building was built in 1938 and vacated in the mid-’80s. In 2000 ZOM acquired the hotel and also the vacant parcel to the South with the idea in mind of rehabilitating it as one of Miami Beach’s most stylish hotels..

Stephanie Ferrell was the historic preservation consulting architect for client ZOM development, USA. Ferrell assisted with guiding the design of the substantial adjacent addition to this historic hotel and worked with the architect and owners on the successful historic preservation tax credit and property tax exemption applications.
